73:6 Therefore pridearrogance is their necklace; The garment of violence covers them.
73:7 Their eye bulges from fatness; The imaginations of their heart run riotoverflow.
73:10 Therefore his people return to this placehere, And abundant waters of abundance are drunk by them.
73:14 For I have been stricken all day long, And chastenedpunished every morning.
73:15 If I had said, “I will speak thusthis way,” Behold, I would have betrayed the generation of Your children.
73:16 When I ponderedthought toof understandunderstanding this, It was troublesome in my sight
73:17 Until I cameentered into the sanctuary of God; Then I perceived their end.
73:18 Surely You setindeed put them inon slippery placesground; You castdropped them downinto to destructionruin.
73:20 Like a dream when one awakes, O Lord, when arousedstirred, You will despise their formimage.
73:22 Then I was senselessstupid and ignorant; I was like aan beastanimal before You.
73:24 With Your counsel You will guide me with Your plan, And afterward receive me to glory.
73:25 Whom havedo I have in heaven but You? And besideswith You, I desire nothing on earth.

74:1 O God, why have You rejected us forever? Why does Your anger smoke against the sheep of Your pasture?
74:2 Remember Your congregation, which You have purchased of old, Which You have redeemed to be the tribe of Your inheritance; And this Mount Zion, where You have dwelt.
74:3 Turn YourStep footsteps toward the perpetualirreparable ruins; The enemy has damaged everything withinin the sanctuary.
74:4 Your adversaries have roared in the midst of Your meeting place; They have set up their own standardssigns foras signs.
74:5 It seems aslike if one hadbringing lifted up His axe ininto a forest of trees.
74:6 And now they break down all its carved work TheyWith smashaxe with hatchet and hammers.
74:8 They said in their heart, “Let’s us completely subdue them.” They have burned all the meeting places of God in the land.
74:9 We do not see our signs; There is no longer any prophet, Nor is there anyanyone among us who knows how long.
74:10 How long, O God, will the adversaryenemy revile, taunt AndYou? Shall the enemy spurntreat Your name disrespectfully forever?
74:11 Why do You withdraw Your hand, even Your right hand? FromExtend withinit from Your bosom, chest and destroy them!
74:12 Yet God is my kingKing from oflong oldago, Who worksperforms deedsacts of deliverancesalvation in the midst of the earth.
74:14 You crushed the heads of Leviathan; You gave him as food for the creatures of the wilderness.
74:15 You broke open springs and torrents; You dried up ever-flowing streams.
74:17 You have established all the boundaries of the earth; You have madecreated summer and winter.
74:18 Remember this, O Lord, that the enemy has reviledtaunted You, And a foolish people has spurnedtreated Your name disrespectfully.
74:19 Do not delivergive the soul of Your turtledove to the wild beastanimal; Do not forget the life of Your afflicted forever.
74:20 Consider the covenant; For the dark places of the land are full of the habitationsplaces of violence.
74:21 LetMay not the oppressed person not return dishonored; LetMay the afflicted and the needy praise Your name.
74:22 Arise, O God, and plead Your own cause; Remember how the foolish manperson reproachestaunts You all day long.
74:23 Do not forget the voice of Your adversaries, The uproar of those who rise against You, which ascends continually.
75:1 We give thanks to You, O God, we give thanks, For Your name is near; MenPeople declare Your wondrous works.
75:2 “When I select an appointed time, It is I who judge with equityfairly.
75:3 The earth and all who dwellinhabit in it meltare unsteady; It is I who have firmly set its pillars. Selah.
75:8 For a cup is in the hand of the Lord, and the wine foams; It is well mixed, and He pours out of this; SurelyCertainly all the wicked of the earth must drain and drink down its dregs.
75:10 And He will cut off all the horns of the wicked He will cut off, But the horns of the righteous will be lifted up.
76:3 There He broke the flaming arrows, The shield, and the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah.
76:6 At Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, Both rider and horse were cast into a dead sleep.
76:7 You, even You, indeed are to be feared;, And who may stand in Your presence, when once You are angry?
76:9 When God arose to judgment, To save all the humble of the earth. Selah.
76:10 For the wrath of manmankind shall praise You; WithYou will encircle Yourself with a remnant of wrath You will gird Yourself.
76:11 Make vows to the Lord your God and fulfill them; LetAll all who are around Him are to bring gifts to Him who is to be feared.
77:1 My voice rises to God, and I will cry aloud; My voice rises to God, and He will hearlisten to me.
77:2 In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord; In the night my hand was stretched out withoutand wearinessdid not grow weary; My soul refused to be comforted.
77:3 When I remember God, then I am disturbedrestless; When I sigh, then my spirit growsfeels faintweak. Selah.
77:8 Has His lovingkindnessfavor ceased forever? Has His promise come to an end forever?
77:9 Has God forgotten to be gracious, Or has He in anger withdrawn His compassion? Selah.
77:11 I shall remember the deeds of the Lord; Surely I will certainly remember Your wonders of old.
77:12 I will meditate on all Your work, And muse on Your deeds with thanksgiving.
77:13 Your way, O God, is holy; What god is great like our God?
77:15 YouBy have by Your power You have redeemed Your people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
77:16 The waters saw You, O God; The waters saw You, they were in anguish; The deepsocean depths also trembled.
77:17 The clouds poured out water; The skies gavesounded forth a soundout; Your arrows flashed here and there.
77:18 The sound of Your thunder was in the whirlwind; The lightningslightning lit up the world; The earth trembled and shook.
77:19 Your way was in the sea And Your paths in the mighty waters, And Your footprints maywere not be known.
78:1 Listen, O my people, to my instruction; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will uttertell darkriddles sayings of old,
78:4 We will not conceal them from their children, But we will tell to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strengthpower and His wondrous works that He has done.
78:5 For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers That they shouldwere to teach them to their children,
78:6 ThatSo that the generation to come mightwould know, even the children yet to be born, That they maywould arise and tell them to their children,
78:7 ThatSo that they shouldwould put their confidence in God And not forget the works of God, But keepcomply with His commandments,
78:9 The sons of Ephraim were archers equipped with bows, Yet they turned back inon the day of battle.
78:10 They did not keep the covenant of God And refused to walk in His lawLaw;
78:12 He wroughtperformed wonders before their fathers In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.
78:15 He split the rocks in the wilderness And gave them abundantplenty to drink like the ocean depths.
78:16 He brought forth streams also from the rock And causedmade waters to run down like rivers.
78:18 And in their heart they put God to the test By asking for food accordingthat tosuited their desiretaste.
78:20 Behold, He struck the rock so that waters gushed out, And streams were overflowing; Can He givealso provide bread also? Will He provideprepare meat for His people?”
78:21 Therefore the Lord heard and was full of wrath; And a fire was kindled against Jacob, And anger also mounted against Israel,
78:24 He rained down manna upon them to eat, And gave them food from heaven.
78:25 Man didate eat the bread of angels; He sent them food in abundance.
78:26 He causedmade the east wind to blow in the heavenssky And by His power He directed the south wind.
78:28 Then He let them fall in the midst of their camp, RoundAll aboutaround their dwellings.
78:29 So they ate and were well filled, And their desire He gavesatisfied totheir themlonging.
78:30 Before Yet before they had satisfiedabandoned their desirelonging, While their food was in their mouths,
78:31 The anger of God rose against them And killed some of their stouteststrongest ones, And subdued the choice men of Israel.
78:33 So He brought their days to an end in futility, And their years to an end in sudden terror.
78:34 When He killed them, then they sought Him, And they returned and searched diligently for God;
78:36 But they deceivedflattered Him with their mouth And lied to Him with their tongue.
78:37 For their heart was not steadfast toward Him, Nor were they faithful inwith His covenant.
78:38 But He, being compassionate, forgave their iniquitywrongdoing and did not destroy them; And often He restrained His anger And did not arousestir up all His wrath.
78:39 ThusSo He remembered that they were butonly flesh, A wind that passes and does not return.
78:42 They did not remember His power, The day when He redeemed them from the adversaryenemy,
78:44 And turned their rivers to blood, And their streams, so that they could not drink.
78:45 He sent among them swarms of flies whichamong them that devoured them, And frogs whichthat destroyed them.
78:46 He also gave also their crops to the grasshopper And the product of their labor to the locust.
78:48 He gavealso overturned their cattle alsoover to the hailstones, And their herds to bolts of lightning.
78:49 He sent upon them His burning anger upon them, Fury and indignation and trouble, A band of destroying angels.
78:50 He leveled a path for His anger; He did not spare their soulsouls from death, But gaveturned over their lifelives over to the plague,
78:51 And smotestruck all the firstborn in Egypt, The first issueand best of their virilityvigor in the tents of Ham.
78:52 But He led forth His own people out like sheep, And guided them in the wilderness like a flock;
78:55 He also drove out the nations beforefrom them And apportioned them foras an inheritance by measurement, And madehad the tribes of Israel dwell in their tents.
78:58 For they provoked Him with their high places And arousedmoved HisHim to jealousy with their gravencarved images.
78:59 When God heard them, He was filled with wrath And greatlyHe abhorredutterly rejected Israel;
78:60 So that He abandoned the dwelling place at Shiloh, The tent which He had pitched among menpeople,
78:61 And He gave up His strength to captivity And His glory into the hand of the adversaryenemy.
78:62 He also deliveredturned His people over to the sword, And was filled with wrath at His inheritance.
78:64 His priests fell by the sword, And His widows could not weep.
78:66 He drove His adversaries backward; He put on them an everlasting reproachdisgrace.
78:68 But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which He loved.
78:69 And He built His sanctuary like the heights, Like the earth which He has foundedestablished forever.
78:70 He also chose David His servant David And took him from the sheepfolds;
78:71 From the care of the ewes with sucklingnursing lambs He brought him To shepherd Jacob His people, And Israel His inheritance.
79:1 O God, the nations have invaded Your inheritance; They have defiled Your holy temple; They have laid Jerusalem in ruins.
79:2 They have given the dead bodies of Your servants for food to the birds of the heavenssky as food, The flesh of Your godly ones to the beastsanimals of the earth.
79:3 They have poured out their blood like water roundall aboutaround Jerusalem; And there was no one to bury them.
79:4 We have become a reproachdisgrace tobefore our neighbors, AAn scoffingobject andof derision and ridicule to those around us.
79:5 How long, O Lord? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?
79:7 For they have devoured Jacob And laid waste his habitationsettlement.
79:8 Do not rememberhold us responsible for the iniquitiesguilty deeds of our forefathers against us; Let Your compassion come quickly to meet us, For we arehave broughtbecome very low.
79:9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; And deliversave us and forgive our sins for the sake of Your name’s sake.
79:10 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Let therevengeance be known among the nations in our sight, Vengeance for the blood of Your servants which has been shed Be known among the nations in our sight.
79:11 Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You; According to the greatness of Your power, preservelet those who are doomed to die remain.
79:12 And return to our neighbors sevenfoldseven times as much into their bosomlap TheTheir reproachtaunts with which they have reproachedtaunted You, O Lord.
80:1 OhListen, give ear, Shepherd of Israel, YouWho wholeads lead Joseph like a flock; You who are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth!
80:2 Before Ephraim, and Benjamin, and Manasseh, stirawaken up Your power, And come to save us!
80:3 O God, restore us And causemake Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved.
80:4 O Lord God of hostsarmies, How long will You be angry with the prayer of Your people?
80:5 You have fed them with the bread of tears, And You have made them to drink tears in large measure.
80:7 O God of hostsarmies, restore us And causemake Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved.
80:10 The mountains were covered with its shadow, And the cedars of God with its boughsbranches.
80:11 It was sending out its branches to the sea And its shoots to the Euphrates River.
80:13 A boar from the forest eats it away, And whatever moves in the field feeds on it.
80:14 O God of hostsarmies, do turn again now, we beseech Youback; Look down from heaven and see, and take care of this vine,
80:15 EvenThe the shoot which Your right hand has planted, And onof the son whom You have strengthened for Yourself.
80:16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down; They perish atfrom the rebuke of Your countenanceface.
80:18 Then we shallwill not turn back from You; Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.
80:19 O Lord God of hostsarmies, restore us; CauseMake Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved.
81:2 Raise a song, strike the timbreltambourine, The sweet sounding lyre with the harp.
81:5 He established it foras a testimony in Joseph When he went throughout the land of Egypt. I heard a language that I did not know:
81:7 You called in trouble and I rescued you; I answered you in the hiding place of thunder; I provedput you to the test at the waters of Meribah. Selah.
81:8 Hear, O My people, and I will admonish you; O Israel, if you would listen to Me!
81:9 LetThere thereshall be no strange god among you; Nor shall you worship anya foreign god.
81:12 So I gave them over to the stubbornness of their heart, To walk inby their own devicesplans.
81:15 Those who hate the Lord would pretend obedience to obey Him, And their time of punishment would be forever.
81:16 But I would feed you with the finest of the wheat, And with honey from the rock I would satisfy you.”
82:1 God takes His standposition in His own congregationassembly; He judges in the midst of the rulersgods.
82:2 How long will you judge unjustly And show partiality to the wicked? Selah.
82:4 Rescue the weak and needy; DeliverSave them outfrom of the hand of the wicked.
82:5 They do not know nor do they understand; They walk aboutaround in darkness; All the foundations of the earth are shaken.
82:6 I said, “You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High.
82:7 Nevertheless you will die like men, And fall like any one of the princes.”
82:8 Arise, O God, judge the earth! For it is You whopossess possesses all the nations.
83:1 O God, do not remain quiet; Do not be silent and, O God, do not be still.
83:4 They have said, “Come, and let’s us wipe them out as a nation, ThatSo that the name of Israel will no longer be remembered no more.”
83:5 For they have conspired together with one mind; AgainstThey You they make a covenant against You:
83:7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
83:8 Assyria also has joined with them; They have become a help to the children of Lot. Selah.
83:9 Deal with them as with Midian, As with Sisera and Jabin at the torrentriver of Kishon,
83:10 Who were destroyed at En-dor, Who became aslike dung for the ground.
