O Lord, I call upon you;tPs. 40:13; 70:5 hasten to me!
Give ear to my voice when I call to you!

LetuLuke 1:10; Rev. 5:8; 8:3, 4 my prayer be counted as incense before you,
andvSee Ps. 28:2 the lifting up of my hands aswSee Ex. 29:41 the evening sacrifice!

xPs. 34:13 Set a guard, O Lord, over my mouth;
yMic. 7:5 keep watch over the door of my lips!

zPs. 119:36 Do not let my heart incline to any evil,
to busy myself with wicked deeds
in company with men whoaver. 9; Ps. 94:4 work iniquity,
andbProv. 23:6 let me not eat of their delicacies!

let him rebuke me—it is oil for my head;

and from the snares of evildoers!
