Salvation for Foreigners

56

Thus says the Lord :
“Keep justice, and do righteousness,
wch. 46:12, 13; 51:5, 6 for soon my salvation will come,
and my deliverance be revealed.

Blessed is the man who does this,
and the son of man who holds it fast,
xch. 58:13 who keeps the Sabbath, not profaning it,
and keeps his hand from doing any evil. ”

Let notych. 14:1; [Deut. 23:7, 8] the foreigner who has joined himself to the Lord say,
“The Lord will surely separate me from his people ”
;
and let not the eunuch say,
“Behold, I amz[Ezek. 17:24; 20:47] a dry tree. ”
For thus says the Lord :
“To the eunuchsx[See ver. 2 above] who keep my Sabbaths,
who choose the things that please me
and hold fast my covenant,

a[1 Tim. 3:15; Rev. 3:12] I will give in my house and within my walls
ab[2 Sam. 18:18; John 1:12] monument and a name
better than sons and daughters;
c[2 Tim. 2:19] I will give them an everlasting name
that shall not be cut off.

Andy[See ver. 3 above] the foreigners who join themselves to the Lord,
to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord,
and to be his servants,
everyonex[See ver. 2 above] who keeps the Sabbath and does not profane it,
and holds fast my covenant—

dch. 65:1; [ch. 19:24, 25] these I will bring toech. 2:2 my holy mountain,
and make them joyful in my house of prayer;
f[Rom. 15:16] their burnt offerings and their sacrifices
will be accepted on my altar;
forgCited Matt. 21:13; Mark 11:17; Luke 19:46 my house shall be called a house of prayer
for all peoples. ”

The Lord God,
hch. 11:12 who gathers the outcasts of Israel, declares,
iJohn 10:16; Eph. 1:10; See Eph. 2:11-16 “I will gather yet others to him
besides those already gathered. ”
