“Come, let usych. 14:1; [ch. 3:5] return to the Lord;
forzch. 5:14; [ch. 13:7, 8] he has torn us, that he may heal us;
he has struck us down, anda[Isa. 30:26] he will bind us up.

After two daysbPs. 71:20; [Luke 24:27, 44; John 2:22; 20:9; 1 Cor. 15:4] he will revive us;
on the third day he will raise us up,
that we may live before him.

c[ch. 4:6] Let us know;c[ch. 4:6] let us press on to know the Lord;
dMic. 5:2 his going out is sure as the dawn;
he will come to use[ch. 14:5] as the showers,
fJoel 2:23 as the spring rains that water the earth. ”

What shall I do with you,g[ch. 11:8] Ohver. 10, 11; ch. 4:15; 5:5; 8:14; 10:11; 11:12; 12:1, 2; See ch. 5:9-14 Ephraim?

Your love isich. 13:3 like a morning cloud,

Therefore I have hewn them by the prophets;
I have slain themjJer. 23:29; [Heb. 4:12] by the words of my mouth,
and my judgment goes forth as the light.

ForkCited Matt. 9:13; 12:7; [1 Sam. 15:22] I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice,

Butm[Gen. 3:11; Job 31:33; Rom. 5:14] like Adam theynch. 8:1; Deut. 17:2 transgressed the covenant;
och. 5:7 there they dealt faithlessly with me.

p[ch. 12:11] Gilead is a city of evildoers,
qSee ch. 4:2 tracked with blood.

As robbersr[ch. 5:1; 7:6] lie in wait for a man,
so the priests band together;
they murder on the way tosJosh. 24:1 Shechem;
they commit villainy.

10 In the house of Israel I have seen a horrible thing;
