Thereforei[Phil. 3:12-14] let us leavejch. 5:12 the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentancekch. 9:14 from dead works and of faith toward God, and oflActs 19:4, 5 instruction about washings,mActs 8:17; 19:6 the laying on of hands,nActs 17:31, 32 the resurrection of the dead, andoSee Acts 10:42 eternal judgment. And this we will dopSee 1 Cor. 16:7 if God permits. For it is impossible to restore again to repentance thoseqch. 10:32 who have once been enlightened, who have tastedr[John 4:10; Eph. 2:8] the heavenly gift, andsch. 2:4, 5; Gal. 3:2, 5 have shared in the Holy Spirit, andtPs. 34:8 have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, if theyu[Matt. 19:26]; See 1 John 5:16 then fall away, sincev[ch. 10:29] they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt. The Certainty of God's Promise
