First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, vEzra 6:10 for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly andwch. 3:4 dignified in every way. This is good, andxch. 5:4 it is pleasing in the sight ofych. 1:1 God our Savior, who desireszch. 4:10; Ezek. 18:23, 32 all people to be saved anda2 Tim. 3:7 to come tob2 Tim. 2:25; Titus 1:1; Heb. 10:26 the knowledge of the truth.
